SUMMER CAMP
We are planning an unforgettable summer for Drama Camp 2025! Designed for young performers, our camp combines the thrill of live theatre with the magic of creativity and teamwork. Whether your child is a first-time actor or a seasoned performer, this camp offers a fun and engaging experience for everyone!
Camp Highlights
Theatrical Training: From learning about behind-the-scenes work like set design and lighting to exploring voice, movement, costume, and acting techniques, campers will get a full immersion into the world of theatre.
Drama Games & Improv: Each day is filled with activities and improv games that encourage teamwork, boost confidence, and unleash creativity.
Live Performance: Campers will put on a full-scale play or musical, performing on a professional stage! Family and friends are invited to watch the big finale in a true theatrical setting.
Local Adventures: Every Friday - as well as throughout the 5th week of camp - the kids will enjoy improv games, group games and outdoor adventures. From splashing at the town pool to exploring parks and schoolyards in Lennoxville, these excursions offer a refreshing change of pace and a chance to enjoy the summer weather!
Meal Plan Option: Enjoy the convenience of nutritious, nut-free meals served in BCS’s beautiful dining hall, for just $5 a day! Skip the hassle of packing a lunch while your kid enjoy a delicious variety of hot entrees, homemade soups, sandwiches (including a panini station), a juice and milk bar, fresh fruit, and even a dessert bar. Gluten-free and dairy-free options are available upon request. Simply add the meal plan to your cart in our shop.
Please note: The dining hall will close for summer break after July 25, so all campers must bring a packed lunch for the final 10 days of camp.
Incredible Camp Leaders
Our leaders are seasoned educators and theatre professionals who bring years of experience both on and off the stage. With backgrounds in education and performing arts, they know how to help each camper grow, whether they’re stepping into their first role or refining their craft.
Camp Details
Duration: 6 weeks, giving campers the time to truly develop their skills and produce a full-length show.
Ages: 8-17, all campers work together, regardless of age, creating a unique opportunity for mentorship, collaboration, and friendships that cross age groups. Our philosophy is that everyone, from beginners to experienced performers, has something valuable to learn and share with one another.
Location: Camp will take place at Bishop’s College School at 80 Chemin Moulton Hill, in Lennoxville. The final performance will be on the professional stage of Centennial Theatre at Bishop’s University.
