MARCH BREAK CAMP
March Break Madness with Mr. L!

Looking for an exciting, confidence-boosting experience for your child this March Break? Join us for a one-of-a-kind camp designed to help kids explore their creativity, build friendships, and gain valuable life skills through the power of improvisation and drama!

Camp Overview

This week-long camp is packed with high-energy improv games and engaging drama activities inspired by the Canadian Improv Games themes. Improv is more than just fun and laughter; it helps kids develop quick-thinking skills, confidence, and creativity – valuable traits that will serve them well in school, friendships, and beyond. Our camp offers kids the chance to feel empowered in a supportive environment, where every voice is heard, and every idea has potential!

Why Improv?

Improv is known for encouraging children to think on their feet, build resilience, and step outside their comfort zones in a safe, supportive setting. Through improv games, kids learn how to:

  • Adapt Quickly: By responding to unpredictable scenarios, kids become more flexible in their thinking, a skill that’s valuable not only on stage but also in real-life situations.

  • Boost Confidence: Every child has a unique perspective, and improv helps them express their individuality while building self-confidence.

  • Work as a Team: Improv fosters collaboration and camaraderie, teaching kids how to trust and support each other.

By the end of the week, your child will feel more self-assured and comfortable speaking and performing in front of others.

Daily Schedule & Activities

Our daily schedule is designed to balance active play, creativity, and relaxation to keep your child’s day engaging and well-rounded. Here’s what kids can expect:

  • Morning Improv & Drama Games: We kick off each morning with a variety of improv exercises, encouraging kids to get comfortable, get silly, and let their creativity flow. Activities like “Yes, And…” and “Character Freeze” teach spontaneity and teamwork.

  • Themed Drama Activities: Each day has a new theme, incorporating the core values of the Canadian Improv Games, like “Creativity,” “Team Spirit,” and “Resilience.” These themes allow kids to explore different aspects of performance and personal growth.

  • Snack & Bonding Time: Throughout the day, there’s plenty of time to chat, snack, and make friends! We believe downtime is important for kids to recharge, bond with new friends, and get to know each other.

  • Outdoor Play: Weather permitting, we’ll spend some time outside too so that the kids can play, let loose, and enjoy the fresh air. This helps everyone stay energized and refreshed.
